Parts Advisors - Wallingford, Devizes and Southam Depots

We are currently looking for Parts Advisors to join our Wallingford, Devizes and Southam depots...

The Parts Department plays a pivotal role within a dealership, sourcing items for our workshop team and customers alike.  The role would suit a bright, enthusiastic individual, who has excellent communication skills, works well with IT systems and possess a very good eye for detail.

Systems can be learnt, but a good mechanical mind that allows you to correctly identify the parts in question, would be a huge advantage, as would, a sound working knowledge of Groundcare and Agricultural machinery.

If you are interested in this position, then please apply to Karen Martin -

Apprentice Service Engineer (Agricultural) - Wallingford and Cirencester Depots

Agricultural Machinery has developed enormously over the past 25 years and the role of the service engineer has never been so important, or indeed more exciting.  We are therefore looking for bright and ambitious individuals, as we look to train the next generation of engineers.

The AGCO apprenticeship combines college based learning alongside time within our dealership.  Over the duration of the course, you will cover engines, transmission, hydraulics and electrics. This will give you an in-depth understanding of the engineering principles and specialist knowledge of the AGCO product range.

Interviews will be taking place shortly, so please register your interest as soon as possible by contacting Karen Martin:

Apprentice Service Engineer (Groundcare) Reading & Ashford Depots....for 2019

As a Groundcare Service Apprentice, you will be joining an experienced team of Field Service Engineers who will pass their knowledge onto the next generation.  The work is extremely varied and will see you working on Kubota's range of Compact tractors and ride on mowers - the kind that are used by Golf Courses, Councils, Private Estates and Sports Grounds.  Some of this takes place within our workshops, but much is out on site where you begin with the basics of servicing before moving onto repairs, diagnostics and fault finding.

The apprenticeship is run in conjunction with Kubota, with block release at college and then you will spend time with us to develop what you have learnt during your time away.

At college, you will cover mechanical principles, engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and electrics - in fact everything you need to build a sound engineering foundation.

On the assumption that you pass the apprenticeship, you will be well on the way to getting a service van of your own, and the beginnings of what should be the start of a very long and rewarding career.  If you would like to register your interest in this apprenticeship, please email

Fendt Sales Specialist - Southam Depot

Universally recognised as the most technologically advanced tractor in the World, Fendt dominate the high horse power end of the market but the story doesn’t stop there. With ever growing sales and market share in the mid-low range tractor sector, the launch of the Katana forage harvester, the Fendt combine, baler and hay equipment, it’s no wonder that some of the competition are looking a little green around the gills!

As part of the development of the brand, we are now looking for a dynamic, intelligent, forward thinking individual, who will work with the rest of the team to deliver outstanding levels of customer service and support to our ever-expanding customer base across Warwickshire.

This cutting edge, prestigious brand combined with the integrity and aftersales support that we have been able to build over the past seventy years, make this a mouth-watering Sales opportunity.

All enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence therefore to arrange a meeting to discuss this opportunity in more detail, please contact Alan Haines:

Groundcare Service Engineer - Specialising in 2-Stroke Machinery - Reading Depot

As well as having great products to sell, much of our success can be attributed to the outstanding aftersales support that our workshops are able to provide and we are now looking for an additional workshop engineer to join the Groundcare team.  This particular position is centred around the smaller hand-held machinery such as walk behind mowers, hedge cutters, chainsaws and brush cutters.  These 2-stroke machines need a particular eye for detail to ensure that faults are swiftly detected and repaired…it’s a real art and so whilst advanced service training from Stihl and Husqvarna will be provided, you must have a passion for this type of work.

About you… The ideal candidate will be a good all-round engineer who enjoys working as part of a team and can also take personal responsibility the quality of their work.  Good communication skills are also essential as it’s the conversations with your Service manager, the Parts department and the customers, that allow work to flow smoothly through the department.

If you are looking for a strong and stable career, at a branch that has a friendly atmosphere, then please contact: .Karen Martin -

We are currently looking for a top-flight Agricultural Service Engineer to join our busy Workshops in Cirencester. You will be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team and, as you would expect, we have a very well-structured training programme that works in conjunction with the manufacturer. The work is technically challenging, and you will be working on some of the most advanced machinery in the market drawing heavily on your knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics. An existing knowledge of farm machinery isn’t essential, but you will need to have a positive appreciation for the countryside and the unique demands of farming if you are to really fall in love with the job!
