We are looking for a self-motivated office administrator to join our team at Ockham. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls and prioritising requests from our sales, service and parts departments.  The work will be varied but demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to work well with others and to juggle jobs within a busy office environment.

To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate a cheerful personality coupled with a professional phone manner that will allow you to deal with customers from all walks of life. You must be a proficient typist and confident using Word and Excel

Experienced Groundscare Engineers Required - Ashford and Reading Branches

We are currently looking for two good mechanical engineers, one to work from our busy workshops in Ashford and the other vacancy is at our Reading depot.  The work is varied and interesting but must be carried out right first time and often within tight time frames. A service vehicle will be provided along with factory training from our key franchises, however, an in-depth knowledge of engines, transmissions and hydraulics is required.

If you are looking for a strong, stable career and think this is the position for you, then please apply to Jason Scott - karen@listerwilder.co.uk

Apprentice Service Engineer (Groundcare) Reading Branch

As a Groundcare Service Apprentice, you will be joining an experienced team of Field Service Engineers who will pass their knowledge onto the next generation.  The work is extremely varied and will see you working on Kubota's range of Compact tractors and ride on mowers - the kind that are used by Golf Courses, Councils, Private Estates and Sports Grounds.  Some of this takes place within our workshops, but much is out on site where you begin with the basics of servicing before moving onto repairs, diagnostics and fault finding.

The apprenticeship is run in conjunction with Kubota, with block release at college and then you will spend time with us to develop what you have learnt during your time away.

At college, you will cover mechanical principles, engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and electrics - in fact everything you need to build a sound engineering foundation.

On the assumption that you pass the apprenticeship, you will be well on the way to getting a service van of your own, and the beginnings of what should be the start of a very long and rewarding career.  If you would like to register your interest in this apprenticeship, please email karen@listerwilder.co.uk

Parts Advisor - Apprentice - Reading Branch

As part of our continued development, we have a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a career within our busy parts department.  Based at our Reading depot, you will be trained by some of our most experienced colleagues as well as receiving additional external training from block release at college.   The result will be an NVQ level 2 qualification but more importantly it will see you on an excellent career path within our dealership.

About you…

A pass at GCSE Maths and English is an absolute minimum but the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate an eye for detail, have a keen interest in machinery and engines, a personality that will allow you to deal with customers on the phone and face to face, and finally, willing to apply themselves with commitment and dedication to whatever task is give to them.  If you would like to register your interest in this apprenticeship, please email karen@listerwilder.co.uk

Agricultural Service Engineer - Wallingford

We are currently looking for a top-flight Agricultural Service Engineer to join our Workshops in Wallingford. You will be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team and, as you would expect, we have a very well-structured training programmed that works in conjunction with the manufacturer. The work is technically challenging, and you will be working on some of the most advanced machinery in the market drawing heavily on your knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics. An existing knowledge of farm machinery isn’t essential, but you will need to have a positive appreciation for the countryside and the unique demands of farming if you are to really fall in love with the job!

If you are looking for a strong, stable career and think this is the position for you, then please apply to Jason Scott - karen@listerwilder.co.uk

Service Administrator - Wallingford

Wallingford is our Head Office and one of the busiest depots in our group, with 14 engineers working from the branch. This admin role will therefore be demanding but also interesting, varied and hopefully extremely rewarding.

This Service Administrator role responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and allocating warranty credit notes
  • Entering service reports onto the Agco system
  • Typing warranty stories onto claims
  • Entering time sheets
  • Overseeing Customer Satisfaction Surveys

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has worked in an administration capacity for a car dealership, garage or service department. You will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to work well with the team of engineers, have a very good eye for detail and be very competent with typing, data entry and spreadsheets.  A technical background would be useful but its more important that you have strong administration skills.

If you think this is the position for you, then please apply to Jason Scott - karen@listerwilder.co.uk
